After a great start to the second half of the season with a 6-0 win against East London M8’s ,THD M6’s went into the game against Brom Becks Hawks feeling confident. The game didn’t start well with Brom Becks getting the upper hand early on with a quick goal less than 5mins in. They kept the pressure on and THD struggled to find their rhythm. Two further Brom Becks goals saw THD M6’s going into half time trailing by 3 goals to 0. What a different second half it was.

In the second half THD dominated from the off pushing Brom Becks back into their half. Opportunities came and then around 15mins into the second half the game really came alive with a beautifully finished goal from Archie White. 3-1 and THD kept pressing sensing Brom Becks were on the back foot. Then following a string of around 15 man to man passes starting from the half way line Alex Altstadt expertly tapped in from the back post to make it 3-2……..all captured on video by Tom Harris!

More pressure from THD and more chances and then with just under 5mins to go a goal bound shot was stopped by a Brom Beck foot and a P-Flick was awarded. Without a moments hesitation Max Cohen stepped up and cool as a cucumber slotted the P-Flick home. 3-3.

Would there be a winner? Well despite a final few minutes of yet more THD pressure it was not to be. A thoroughly deserved draw was secured as a result of a fantastic second half team performance to earn a much needed point.
