About the Club

We pride ourselves in being a friendly welcoming club with a team to suit every age and playing ability.

Our social calendar is full and varied, centred on our Clubhouse at Dulwich Sports Club. You'll always find players there on a Saturday, enjoying what we and lots of opposition teams say are the best teas in London.

Home fixtures are played at great facilities in the local area - Dulwich College, James Allen’s Girls’ School and Alleyn's School. We're always on the lookout for new members so if you're interested in joining, register your details here

Adult Hockey

We field 14-20 adult teams every weekend. Our Men's and Women's 1s both play in the London Prem. We then have eight men's, seven women's sides and four vets teams who all play in the London leagues and our mixed team plays in Kennington Park on Sundays.

Master's Hockey

We regularly field 4 vets teams WO35 Vintage, MO40 Artillery, MO50 Musketeers, MO50 Fusiliers. many of our vets also represent London in Master's Area tournaments.

Junior Hockey

Our junior section is thriving, and we are so proud of it. The ages range from 6-18, with coaching and matches regularly held on Sundays throughout term time. We also support the older children's transition into Adult league hockey. During the holidays, we run very popular hockey camps. You can find out more here.

THD Phoenix

Phoenix is a program in South London which introduces hockey to primary kids from local state schools, who have not had the opportunity to play hockey and the multitudes of benefits it provides. We run it in partnership with Dulwich College.

It is a player pathway which provides free hockey sessions in a safe and welcoming environment. The sessions are built around fun and enjoyment while teaching hockey skills and nurturing sporting ability. The ultimate goal is to provide entry into club hockey (and beyond), providing community and financial support, where needed. We want to inspire children in our community to play sports throughout childhood and into later life. In 2024 Phoenix was shortlisted for an England Hockey award. You can read more about Phoenix here.

Alleyn's Academy: Volunteer Coaches

THD actively supports the program by providing volunteer adult coaches for Alleyn's Academy. This uses the school's facilities for football, hockey, rugby and basketball so that each state school children can rotate through each sport for four weeks, with the aim to encourage entry into club hockey.
