5th Mar- M1s back in the Spotlight!

THD M1s 3-2 win Vs Edwardians M1s
Saturday  4th March 2023

Hamstrings, back problems, meniscus tears. All well known disruptors of any successful campaign. But nothing quite affects the availability of a team like the annual pilgrimage all hockey players pledge to undertake to Val whatever to go fast down a big hill in neon clothing. But where other squads saw low numbers Tulse Hill and Dulwich Men's 1s saw opportunity. And that opportunity came in the form of Joe. He proved to be the difference maker in a 3-2 win over London Edwardians who would have gone top of the league with a game in hand had they been victorious.

This win keeps THD within touching distance of the 9th spot which would guarantee that they would retain their position in London Prem. With 10 points in their last 4 games this seems more and more likely with each passing week.

Scorers: Apparently, the M1s were so excited, nobody remembers who scored (?)
MOM to Matt Stone (second week on the bounce!)
DOD to Marvin Dannett
Iconic Representative of the Team to Milo Kite, for stepping up to write a second Match Report (and for stealing George's bib).

Milo Kite M1s

It's evident M1s have already a strong multitasking candidate for Teams EoS awards..
