If you have already played your match, due to play after or have a bye week why not to give umpiring a go? There are opportunities to be mentored / coached on how to umpire as well as lots of opportunities to start in friendly matches, training games and summer league coming up.
Last Saturday, after their win a number of our Men's 5s gave umpiring a go for the very first time in the Men's 6s match Vs West Hampstead M6s at JAGS.
James Anderton, Nick Solly, Jack Kessell and Chris Davis all picked up a whistle and rotated in quarters under the watchful eye of our very own Lower Men's Club Captain and (humble...) top club umpire Tom Harris.

The match was eventful and fun with West Hampstead running out 6-3 winners. The umpiring received really good feedback from both captains and proved to be a great opportunity to get that first experience for a number of our M5s squad.
