What a season!

During the 2022-23 season, we have faced yet another high influx of young hockey players keen to join THD Junior section. This was an excellent year, when we introduced the use of the Teamo app for general team admin and a goalkeeping session on Friday evenings and continued with Teenage Thursdays to add to our Sunday offerings.

Hockey is for everyone and should be fun, safe and rewarding. All the teams across all age groups developed well, and should be proud of their achievements. We also had some strong results with teams winning Plate competition or their leagues. Several of our older boys and girls have been picked to play "County" for London South.

Thank you to all our amazing young hockey players, their parents and guardians, the helpers, the managers, the coaches - both adult and young coaches, and everyone else who helped make this season a success. It would not have been possible without all that brilliant energy and commitment.

We had challenges, whether it was the weather and frozen pitches or organisational room for improvement. We are taking additional steps for next season.

Looking at the next few weeks, we are delighted to confirm that the spring/summer hockey is starting on 23rd April for 10 weeks open to all members of the junior section. Please look out for the communication coming very soon.
