Our M7s “Tigers” continued their unbeaten run in a 1-1 draw at the weekend as they travelled to Redbridge to play against London Royals M4s.
It was an early start for the M7s with a 10:30am push at Redbridge. So along the way the chaps enjoyed breakfast club as they prepared for only their 3rd ever game.
The game was enjoyable and played in good spirit. The tigers were unlucky not to win with the majority of chances and possession. They went 1 nil up with Alex Aldstadt in the first half and continued to threaten the Royals goal. In the second half whilst searching for a 2nd goal Royals scored on the break and the match ended in a draw.
The team has been setup for beginners and those who are new to the sport as well as those returning after a long break. We are on the lookout for new players and anyone interested only need contact our Lower Mens Club Captain Tom Harris - Tom.harris@thehockeyclub.co.uk.
Looking forward, they host a rematch this week at Alleyns School starting at 4pm so pop down and come and support the chaps if you’re in the area.
Well done Tigers!
