We have a very exciting announcement to make:
Earlier this week, the England Hockey ACP (Advanced Coaching Programme) took place at the Pro League Games. During which Gordon Nurse, our Club President, Founding Member and Ex M1 Player, was presented with the accolade of ‘Member of Honour’.
It was presented by England Hockey President Alex Danson.
This accolade has been awarded to Gordon for all the work he has done for England Hockey over the years. Gordon is currently the Disciplinary Commissioner of the International Hockey Federation and Chair of the England Hockey Appeal Panel.
The England Hockey Member of Honour accolade was first introduced in 2015 and is considered to be the highest accolade that can be bestowed on any individual by the National Governing Body.
Congratulations Gordon! We are incredibly proud of you and all the work you do for our sport and the club!
