Our Mens 5s and Mens 6s got 2023 kicked off with an entertaining and well contested interclub match on saturday.

The Lower Men's side of the club has been boosted in recent years going from 7 teams to 9 teams and this was a good contest between two of our improving and competitive sides. Last year our M6s won Division 7E and our M5s were promoted from Division 6E.

The match itself was played in good spirits and our M5s won 3-0 with plenty of positives for both sides. The scorers were Henry Turpie (2) and Tom Harris (1). 

Our thanks to lower mens club captain Tom Harris for organising the match and to umpires Keith Howick and Richard Stonehewer-Smith for officiating.

Next week the M5s have a bye in the league and the M6s take on East London M8s at Mile End Staduim. Good luck to both teams for the remainder of the season.
